He helps businesses understand and navigate the complex laws that govern how they use and protect their data, including the new challenges presented by generative AI. John has over two decades of legal experience in the public and private sectors and advises clients based on lessons he learned serving as Product and Privacy Counsel at a New York-based financial technology startup, Chief Privacy Officer at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation.
