Kyle Weaver serves as Chief Operating Officer at Akana Claims Management. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operation of the company, provides strategic vision for the company's direction, and ensures the claims objectives of Akana's customers are put first every day through a mix of Akana's unique people, proven processes, and innovative products. Kyle's role at Akana and the unique mindset he brings are rooted in spending nearly a decade in the trenches of the trucking industry.

Lisa Stephenson is General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer for CRST, where she is responsible for leading the Legal, Safety & Risk functions for CRST. Prior to joining CRST in 2016, Lisa was a member of the Simmons Perrine law firm in Cedar Rapids where she focused on employment and commercial litigation. Lisa also served as a law clerk in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa. Lisa earned her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. 

John Williams, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, is a Partner in the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Service Group at Amundsen Davis, LLC. He helps businesses understand and navigate the complex laws that govern how they use and protect their data, including the new challenges presented by generative AI.

Molly A. Arranz, CIPP/US, chairs the Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Service Group at Amundsen Davis LLC. With over two decades of defending companies in consumer and personal privacy class actions and against a backdrop of emerging privacy laws, Molly advises companies on the patchwork of state and federal privacy laws, consumer protection regulations, breach response obligations, and tracking technology disclosures. She partners with multiple logistics companies on the application of state and federal regulations and statutes.

As Amundsen Davis’s managing partner, Lew leads a collaborative team of attorneys and staff to ensure that Amundsen Davis provides the best possible legal services to clients while also maintaining focus on the business side of firm operations. He leads his clients’ Rapid Response Team, coordinating responses to catastrophic losses for clients in the Midwest.

David is a partner with over 30 years of experience counseling employers throughout the country and across a wide variety of industries on federal and state occupational safety and health requirements. His transportation industry clients include major trucking companies and airlines. He advises those companies on measures and strategies to comply with the many specific OSHA regulations and, most importantly, to maintain safe and healthy work practices and environments.

As the VP of Operations for CargoNet, Keith Lewis oversees operational strategy, staff supervision, and investigative support. His distinguished background includes serving as a Task Force Agent for the GBI’s Major Theft Unit.

Yaron Shaham, Esq. is a Partner with and the Co-Chair of Kahana Feld’s Trucking and Transportation practice group. He is an integral member of both Kahana Feld’s Trucking & Transportation and General Liability practice groups. Yaron focuses his practice on the defense of trucking and logistics companies, business owners, and their officers, directors, and employees.
