Reed Sirak is an Environmental Partner at Benesch. He advises on environmental issues in the context of corporate and real estate transactions, litigation, regulatory compliance, and government investigations and enforcement matters. He provides strategic counsel to businesses nationwide throughout the investment lifecycle, from mitigating environmental liabilities during due diligence to ensuring regulatory, reporting and permit compliance in portfolio management and transaction structuring.

Jonathan Todd is Vice Chair of the Transportation & Logistics Practice at Benesch.  His entire career has focused on transportation, logistics, warehousing, and international trade matters.

Jonathan portfolio of experience includes industry mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiating of all forms, government license and permit management, business operations counsel, new business lines, new market entry, risk management, regulatory compliance counsel and enforcement defense, claims, and dispute resolution.

Beata Shapiro is based in the Boston office of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, LLP.  Her practice if primarily focused on transportation, product liability and general liability law.  Beata has extensive experience representing national and international entities and individuals in personal injury, wrongful death and property damage claims, as well as emergency response matters. She also advises clients on and handles matters related to regulatory compliance, administrative actions, acquisitions, contracts, employee guidelines, and licensing issues.

Kenneth D. Sansom is a partner at Spotswood Sansom & Sansbury where he has established himself as a premiere business litigator through his ability to devise and implement legal resolutions that fit his clients’ needs. The areas of practice where Sansom has the most experience are state and federal appeals, commercial and labor and employment class actions and corporate investigations. However, his legal expertise is by no means limited to those practice areas.

With a broad and winning first-chair litigation practice, Jonathan (“Johnny”) Friedman serves as national counsel, trial counsel, and appellate counsel in the defense of high-exposure tort matters. He is a recipient of ALM Law.Com’s “Legal Innovator” Award and has been profiled in The AmLaw Litigation Daily for taking a novel, “data-centric approach” to tort claims. He is the Co-Founder of DataGavel, a legaltech platform for companies and their defense counsel in tort litigation. 

Lee Mickus is a partner in the Denver office of Evans Fears Schuttert McNulty Mickus LLP. He defends manufacturers and other business interests nationally in product liability and tort lawsuits.  He has successfully tried cases to juries in Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, California, New York, Florida, Montana, Puerto Rico and several other states.  

D'Lesli's is a partner in Norton Rose Fulbright’s Dallas office where her practice focuses on product liability and general negligence tort matters, including high stakes automotive and trucking litigation. She regularly practices in state and federal courts across the country and in MDLs and consolidated proceedings in matters involving catastrophic injuries and the potential for thermonuclear verdicts.

Cedar is the owner of Iron Resolution Services, LLC, a national mediation and resolution services provider with a special focus on trucking litigation. After serving at the highest levels of trucking company claims departments for a decade and having cultivated strong relationships with the plaintiffs’ bar, Cedar is uniquely positioned to facilitate negotiation informed by an understanding of and empathy for the challenges faced by both sides of a case. 

Doug Grawe is the founder and CEO of The Grawe Group, LLC, a law and consulting firm specializing in the trucking industry. For over 15 years Doug and his team have served trucking, logistics, and storage providers big and small with strategic planning, risk management, M&A facilitation, and interim leadership. Doug is a board member for the Minnesota Trucking Association, chair of its Government Affairs committee, chairman of Minnesotans for Lawsuit Reform, and active in government affairs for the industry nationwide, especially on issues impacting independent owner operators.

A successful investigation leaves no stone unturned, and Andrea Albert digs into investigations with a keen attention to detail and an eye toward a long-term strategy to bring about the best resolution for her clients. She is a member of the firm’s Emergency Response Team for transportation matters, assisting clients from the time of an accident through the investigation process and litigation.
